WORLD FOOD MOVEMENT

MILPITAS, California

World Food Movement (WFM), is a nonprofit focused on addressing a silent hunger crisis in students: millions of community college and underserved students across the U.S. struggle with food insecurity, and roughly 1 in 3 reports not having consistent access to nutritious meals. This challenge affects students who are balancing academics, work, and family responsibilities and who often lack the support systems available at four-year institutions. WFM offers a practical and reliable solution by providing fresh, hot, chef-prepared meals directly on campus, always free and with no eligibility requirements. In our early stages, we have already served 10,000+ meals across multiple colleges, helping students stay healthy, focused, and engaged in their studies. Our model emphasizes consistency, quality, and scalability. WFM is founded by the same founders of the Akshaya Patra Foundation, which has delivered 5 billion+ meals globally and brings proven operational expertise to this effort.
