WCK's Response to Super Typhoon Sinlaku (Apr. 2026)

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is responding across Guam, Saipan, Rota, and Tinian after Super Typhoon Sinlaku battered the region with destructive winds and torrential rain. Sinlaku is one of the strongest typhoons to occur this early in the year and has left thousands of people without power or access to fresh water. WCK is working alongside local restaurants and community leaders to ensure residents have access to fresh, nourishing meals during this difficult time.

WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.

By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively.
