WCK's Response to Super Typhoon Sinlaku (Apr. 2026)

di WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATED

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is responding in Guam after Super Typhoon Sinlaku hit communities in the western Pacific Ocean. The storm, currently at Category 4 intensity, brought torrential rain and hurricane-force wind gusts to Guam hours before its arrival. Forecasts predict more storm surges, destructive winds, and another 6-12 inches of rain that could lead to flash flooding as the storm passes.

WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.

By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.

With over 600 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
