QWER Hacks is one of the first LGBTQIA+-focused hackathons in the nation and held its fourth annual iteration in January 2023, connecting over 200 for an impactful and exciting weekend. Through curated technical and diversity & inclusion workshops, product development under high-impact tracks, and inspiring talks from queer individuals in tech, QWER Hacks celebrates and increases the visibility of the queer community in STEM by engaging and bringing together queer individuals and allies. This year we are hoping to make QWER Hacks more accessible to attend by raising funds to provide travel grants for LGBTQIA+ students living outside the Los Angeles area! Funds raised on this platform will go directly to ensuring the joy and experience of QWER Hacks can be shared with even more LGBTQIA+ students.
