WCK's Response to Fuego Volcano Eruption in Guatemala (Aug. 2026)

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is responding in Southwest Guatemala, where the Fuego Volcano is once again erupting. Lava flows have forced over 1,400 people to evacuate their homes, with an estimated 29,000 people impacted across the region.

WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.
