Strum Strum Club is a student-led club founded on the belief that music can be a force for good. What began as a small music club has grown into a service-driven group focused on using our talents to support our community. We started by organizing live performances, where we raised funds to support the community. Through these experiences, we learned that music has the power to bring people together and inspire generosity.
As we continue to grow, our goal is to use music to support student STEM and arts clubs in our community, including robotics, music, and art clubs-especially those with limited access to resources. By performing, fundraising, and sharing our skills, we hope to help other student teams and clubs move a little closer to achieving their goals.
Through planning and leading community events, club members gain hands-on experience in leadership, teamwork, communication, event planning, and community engagement. Students take ownership of organizing performances, coordinating with community partners, and reflecting on the impact of their work. Most importantly, we learn that even small actions-like sharing music-can create meaningful and lasting change for causes we care deeply about.
