Louisiana's Kiss A Pig Gala is a black-tie fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association.
The formal affair hosts guests to an evening of dinner, dancing, live entertainment, auctions, and the infamous pig-kissing ceremony.
The event's success is largely due to the support of business and community leaders who serve as candidates. The top fundraiser earns the privilege of kissing the pig on stage the evening of the gala! We do this to show appreciation for the pig's heroic role in diabetes research as the first source of medicinal insulin.
Event proceeds are used to fund diabetes research, advocacy, and community support for all people affected by diabetes in Louisiana.
