More than 3 million Virginians - or 39 percent - are affected by diabetes and prediabetes; and many of these individuals don't yet know it. If current trends continue, it is estimated that one in three Americans will have diabetes by the year 2050.
For this reason the American Diabetes Association's Central Virginia office is committed to educating the public about how to stop diabetes and support those living with the disease. We are here to help.
