4 Countries. 4 Days. One Fight Against Cancer.

This September, six of us — Steve Blow, Wes Carroll, Rob Magno, Andy Fernandez, Erkut Dinctop and Andy Gamble — will set off from the NVIDIA UK London Office in London and cycle all the way to Arnhem in the Netherlands, crossing four countries in four days: England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

But this challenge is about far more than the kilometres ahead of us.

We are riding in support of our friend Gijsbert Janssen van Doorn, who is battling Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. Gijsbert’s courage, resilience and positivity throughout his fight have inspired us to push ourselves again to raise money for KWF (Dutch Cancer Society).

This will actually be our second fundraising challenge for Gijsbert. Last September, we climbed Ben Nevis and then canoed across the width of Scotland together — an unforgettable experience that raised money and awareness while creating memories we’ll never forget.

This year, we’re going even further.

Over four demanding days, we’ll cycle hundreds of kilometres through changing terrain, unpredictable weather and tired legs, all united by one goal: helping fund vital cancer research, improved treatments and support for patients and families affected by cancer.
