FTC Robotics - Team Tesseract #21689
Robotics, STEM, FTC - Student-led, Parent volunteers, Community driven
Over deze Doneermogelijkheid
My son is a member of Team Tesseract (FTC #21689), a student-run robotics team from Nashua, NH, and I volunteer with the team as a parent. I've seen firsthand how much these kids put into this, and I wanted to do more to help, so I set up this giving opportunity in Benevity to support their work.
What makes this team great is that it's 100% community-built. Students do everything themselves from designing, building, and programming their robots, while parent volunteers like me give their time to keep the program running and free for everyone.
This past year, they put in 450+ hours of community outreach, reached 4,000+ kids in person at local schools, the Nashua Public Library, and the YMCA, and connected with 310,000+ people online. They also mentor 6 other robotics teams, with older students helping younger ones get started.
On the competition side, they won the Inspire Award, FTC's top honor and finished 4th at the NH/ME State Championship, earning a spot at the New England Premier Event.
Your donation helps keep their programs free and accessible covering competition fees, travel, robot parts, and supplies that let these kids keep learning and building. Please pitch in anything you can and thank you in advance for supporting these students, parents, and our community.
