MathHacks is a student-run, learning-focused hackathon for high school students in Toronto, Canada. Our events are free to attend and teach the mathematical fundamentals behind computer science, giving students hands-on coding experience, mentorship, and a first project to build on. Our February 2026 event drew 100+ participants, and we expect 150+ at our October 2026 event at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering. Donations fund venue costs, food, prizes, and hardware so that any student can participate at no cost.
