LOST CATS

The Lost Cats (TLC) is a small group of volunteers that rescue homeless and lost cats in the greater San Mateo area. We have trapped several hundred feral cats and had them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If possible, we find them a compassionate caregiver to foster or adopt them. Otherwise, we return them to where they were trapped, in their chosen territory. We work closely with local nonprofit rescue organizations, such as Nine Lives (Redwood City) and Homeless Cat Network (Belmont), as well as PHS/SPCA and local veterinarians. When they have serious health issues, provided we have the budget, we bring them to a veterinarian.

We also feed about two dozen homeless cats nightly on the streets of North San Mateo. We provide them high quality food, including human-grade Mackerel, and fresh water.
