Technovation is a global tech-education nonprofit that empowers girls to use technology to solve problems and encourages them to pursue STEM careers. We provide a continuum of training and support for girls and women in STEM through a global competition focused on technology and entrepreneurship. Technovation trains and mentors girls to apply tech and entrepreneurship skills to drive progress against the very structures - cultural, social, political, and economic - that constrain them. Over the past 16 years, Technovation has engaged nearly 370,000 participants, parents, and volunteers in over 120 countries around the world.
Technovation Girls is a global competition for girls to use technology to solve problems in their communities. With the support of volunteer mentors, teams of up to 5 girls, ages 8 to 18, work through a 12-week curriculum, to identify a problem in their community, use technology (coding or AI) to develop a solution, and pitch their idea to judges who are industry professionals.
