The Fund for People in Parks is a nonprofit that funds visitor-facing projects in overlooked and underserved western National Parks.
Our work focuses on the margin between what federal funding covers and what excellence requires. That gap is real, measurable, and consequential. It determines what visitors see, learn, and take with them when they leave.
We do not work broadly across the park system. Every project we fund is park-leadership-aligned, clearly scoped, and designed to produce a visible, lasting improvement in the visitor experience.
The parks we work in don't always make headlines. They make memories. The people who visit them deserve the same standard as any National Park in the country.
Excellence belongs in every park. That is what we are here to protect.
