MedSTEMPowered is a 6500+ member, 501(c)3 fiscally sponsored nonprofit organization dedicated to building an inclusive community of Future M.D.s+ in STEM. MedSTEMPowered founded the Future M.D.s+ in STEM Summer Program in 2020 and the Winter Camp in 2021. Through the creation of these virtual programs, an accessible and affordable format for students to learn about about the pathways into STEM, Medicine, as well as the science surrounding these fields came into existence. We have run 11 programs total so far, reaching nearly 7000 students worldwide. With each program, students hear from incredible, diverse guest speakers in healthcare and STEM, learn from hands-on workshops taught by our team members, participate in competitions such as our research symposium and case study competition, and much more. To date, it is the largest endeavour of its kind and is completely run by students, for students.
