IEEE RAS prioritizes making robotics more accessible for all and empowering the students in the UT Austin community with technical development through our annual introductory competition and projects across our three committees. Every fall, we host Robotathon, a robotics competition for students new to robotics, where teams go through the design, prototyping, and development of robots to tackle a unique set of challenges each year. Our competitive committees, GHOST and Stampede, compete at the VEX U Robotics Competition and the ARC Robotics Competition every year erspectively. The two committees engage students in pushing the boundaries of advanced engineering, including computer vision, software development, embedded systems, and mechanical design. Our non-competitive committee, Demobots, provides a collaborative space for students to develop creative robotics projects. We are seeking support to help fund these educational projects and initiatives that advance robotics education and prepare students for impactful careers in engineering and technology.
