Centennial High School Robotics Club (FTC Tech Titans Robotics Team)
de HACK FOUNDATIONTeam Overview
This rookie robotics team consists of enthusiastic high school freshmen and sophomores diving into the exciting world of robotics for the first time. With no prior experience, they are eager to learn the fundamentals of engineering, coding, and teamwork. Their journey involves mastering essential skills like CAD (computer-aided design) for mechanical design, programming for automation and control, and hands-on building to bring their ideas to life.
Learning and Growth
The team is dedicated to exploring the intersection of creativity and technology. They are using online resources, workshops, and mentorship from teachers or local engineers to build their foundation. While mistakes and challenges are part of the process, they view every setback as a chance to grow and improve.
Team Spirit
Collaboration and curiosity drive this team. They support each other by sharing knowledge, dividing tasks, and brainstorming solutions. Each member brings a unique perspective, contributing to the team's dynamic problem-solving approach.
Goals
Their primary goal is to design and build a functioning robot for their first competition, showcasing their ingenuity and perseverance. Beyond competitions, they hope to spark a lifelong passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and inspire others in their school to join the robotics community. Additionally, this team is actively reaching across other middle and elementary schools so that they motivate and cultivate the STEM knowledge early on as the feeder schools take over and continue their legacy.
