#DaanUtsav 2026: Beyond the Floods: Help Families Rebuild in Assam
by SEEDS (Sustainable Environment and Ecological Development Society)
Severe flooding in Assam has left families dealing with damaged homes, lost belongings and disrupted livelihoods. While the immediate emergency response provides essential support, recovery takes much longer.
This Daan Utsav, SEEDS is supporting families and communities in Assam through the next stage of recovery, helping them rebuild safer homes and restore the foundations of everyday life.
Your donation can support:
Flood-resilient home reconstruction
Clean water and essential household support
Livelihood recovery through tools, materials and other essential inputs
Community-level recovery and resilience
We are also making the recovery journey more visible. Through the SEEDS Daan Utsav microsite, donors can explore family stories, understand their needs and see how support is contributing to recovery.
Your donation through Benevity can help a family move from flood recovery towards a safer, more secure future.
Give this Daan Utsav and help see what your giving can rebuild.
